Job Opportunity Notice

Under general supervision, responsible for Lawn Maintenance throughout the County.  This includes lawn care for all County buildings and properties. Also, performing a variety of other duties related to road maintenance, including installing and laying pipes, removing debris and trash from roads and ditches, breaking beaver dams, street sign repair, and guarding inmates, etc.  Reports to the Road Supervisor. Must be physically able to frequently lift, push, pull, carry, stoop, and climb.  Has skill in operating yard machines, chain saws, post driver, pulling trailers, loading and unloading mowers, etc.  Assume responsibility for doing assigned work and meeting deadlines.  Able to follow oral and written instructions and organize a daily work routine using time management. Must have High School diploma or GED and valid state driver’s license.
