Under general supervision of the Finance Director, this position will provide general ledger, cash management, and month-end support in the finance department. This job will also have the duties of processing all incoming accounts payable billing for all the county departments. Prepares account reconciliations. Assists with and provide support for external auditors. Assists with the county fiscal year end budgets. Knowledge of reconciling/auditing various governmental funds. Perform other financial duties requested upon the finance director. Requirement, Associates degree in accounting/finance with three (3) to five (5) years accounting experience. (Preferably Governmental Accounting.) Well-rounded knowledge in GASB (Governmental Accounting Standard Board) and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.) Must possess a valid S.C. driver’s license.
