About CCED:

The Chesterfield County Economic Development (CCED) was established in 1987 to foster and promote economic development in Chesterfield County.

​

CCED's primary goal is to improve the quality of life for all citizens of the county by increasing capital investment and creating new jobs. CCED provides site selection assistance, incentive negotiations, and serves as a liaison for regulatory issues for new and existing business and industry. CCED is responsible for the marketing and promotion of Chesterfield County as a great place to work and live. Additionally, the agency coordinates strategic planning/target industry studies, development of industrial sites and parks, speculative buildings and infrastructure, workforce training and development, demographic information management and providing support of tourism and downtown development as needed. CCED is comprised of 3 staff members including Libby Lear, Director, an Existing Industry/Program Coordinator, and an Administrative Assistant/ Grants Coordinator. CCED stands ready to work with you in assessing your needs and to provide solutions that help you succeed.
