The Chesterfield County Emergency Operation Center (EOC) is located at 201 N. Page St in Chesterfield, inside the Department of Social Services Building.  

In the event of a disaster, be it man-made or natural, all county departments can come together at the center to direct all emergency personnel and supplies that are needed to help get the citizens through a disaster.  All personnel have a place to get their supplies lined up to move in any direction they may need to go.  The center is equipped with phone and radio systems so staff can directly communicate with first responders in the field and keep a log of any supplies and personnel needed from other agencies, within or from outside the county.  

If additional supplies or personnel are needed, EOC staff will make a request to other counties or the State of South Carolina.
